Ignition Interlock
I was helping this guy and I was doing a transaction that required ID. Well, I noticed something interesting on his DL's. "Ignition Interlock" I've never seen that before and I actually asked him what it meant. He brushed me off at first and then I became a bit more persistant...
He played it off as it being some kind of anti-theft thing for his vehicle. I thought nothing of it but was confused that it would be on his DL's... Well, after he was gone I asked my co worker and come to find out it means he's had a DUI and has one of those blow tester thingys installed in his car....
I started giggling for awhile. I felt so bad. That is like the rudest question to ask someone but it was my first time seeing it.
Next time I'm going to keep my mouth shut.
