I was chitchatting with a supervisor from another department and mentioned my low carb, high protein diet; no bread, pasta, potatoes, etc. It's REALLY HARD for me to stay away from the stuff. We chat about a few other topics and then she cheerfully tells me:
"Oh, I made a bunch of pasta salad and it's in the fridge if you want some!"
Then she made the
face, covered her mouth and said:
"Oh my god that was the most stupid thing I've ever said!"
She's a cute and nice person, but just sometimes nooooot all there!

Now I'm going to the gym. After losing a little more weight, we can add carbs back-in as long as exercise to maintain that weight. I have to admit, I feel better than I have in years. And I found substitutes to make cookies; like milk chocolate chip cookies made with wheat gluten flour; only 5-carbs a piece! This is the first diet that's actually really worked for me.
