Alright... This happened while I was doing scan file stuff. I was test scanning the cheese case in the deli when I heard something fall in the HBA aisle off to my left, but I didn't really bother looking up because nothing smashed and I figured either the person who dropped it would pick it up, or I would once I was done what I was doing.
Then I saw someone walking up to me out of the corner of my eye and glanced over. It was a woman who was carrying a package of q-tips and looking rather befuddled. She came up up to me and the follow conversation happened.
"Yeah, um... I dropped this."
I just kind of pause and look at her and then at the q-tips for a moment, "Why so you did."
"Well... What should I do?"
"... Put it back?"
"Oh! Okay, I wasn't sure, so I just figured I should ask."
She walked off while I was just standing there watching her. When she was out of sight, I couldn't help but

In retrospect, I suppose she might have thought that since it was in the HBA aisle that maybe we couldn't sell it if it was dropped? But at the same time, it's wrapped. Hitting the floor won't hurt the product unless it somehow burst open on contact with the floor.
