You were fabulous, really... you were charmed by my children (major bonus points right there), you were attentive, you were polite, you were fast.

I am SOOOOOOO SOOOOOOOOOOO embarrassed that my debit card wouldn't go through. I'm even more embarrassed that I hadn't made sure I had an alternate form of payment on hand. It was utterly humiliating for me, and you were so nice about it. I hope you accept and enjoy the $30 tip I left you when I came back to pay after having gone to the bank to get cash.

I'm fairly certain you're completely forgiven. I was told a restaurant accepted debit, when they actually ran debit as credit. My debit card doesn't have a visa logo so it wouldn't run. They were relieved I even came back with the money for my bill.
