Customer had 2 brain burps

Female customer pulls up to the Visitor parking booth window. I inform her of the $5.00 parking fee & where to pay at.

Several hours later the phone inside the Visitor parking booth rings. There is a car at the exit gate. Here is what happened.

me: "Visitor parking booth. How may I help you?"
female customer: "Yeah..Hi...I am trying to get out of here, but the door will not open. I paid for my parking."
me: "Where did you pay at?"
female customer: "I paid inside the building. I have a sheet of paper."

I grab the clicker, & I walk up to the exit gate. She shows me her receipt, which she got from the parking office stating she paid $5.00. It has today's date on it. She tells me she forgot to get her token.

I let her out.

Some people need things written out, step by step, in black & white for them to get it--Or a voice telling them what to do all the time, like a GPS. **shrugs** Just human nature, even though it does drive you batty!
