BG/I have been floating across our sales dept for the last week as they are down staff and extremely busy. I took a call from one of our stores today regarding an order that had just arrived.....
Store: I just got my order and there was a model xyz in it. I didnt order that. I never order xyz's
Me: Ok, let me find the paperwork for that order and call you back.
So I find the paperwork and talk to the person who entered the order and call the store back
Me: Hi, its raw456 from >company< calling in regards to the order you recieved today. I have spoken to the agent who took your order and you ordered this yesterday over the phone, you wanted to add to the order that was already in the system.
Store: But I never order xyz's.
Me: Ok, so what were you supposed to order
Store: Umm....????? I dont know.
Me ???
Store: Oh, shit.... what did I have to order????
Me: *trying not to laugh*
Store: Can I arrange to return xyz?
Me: certainly, I will arrange for it to be collected. *give him return number*
Store: Now I have to try and remember what I was supposed to order. I'll call you back
About 15 mins pass and he calls back.
Store: I remember now!!! I was supposed to order an XY not an XYZ.
ME: No worries, I'll put that order in the system for you.
I have to say, this call made my day
