Yesterday these two women come up to me and ask me if the card they have is a Christmas card. The card distinctly says on the top of it "Happy Birthday". I explain that this card is a birthday card and it says Happy Birthday on the top of it, yet she still asks me if it's a Christmas card (the card was green, but still, it says Happy Birthday right on it!) After she finally gets it a minute or two later, I notice the person she's with has two gift bags with her, one a birthday one and the other one for a new baby. I ask if they are looking for Christmas gift bags, they say yes, and I tell them that these bags are for birthday and a new baby, not Christmas (one was red but did have cupcakes and party hats on it, the other was blue). Again, takes a minute before they get it. These women did not speak/understand English overly well, but wow.
