  • A really bad coupon question

A customer comes up to me and shows me a coupon for a Ball of Butter turkey. She asks me if she can only use it for Ball of Butter.

    ...You think?

Some competitors will honor other companies coupons. Of course I've only seen that apply to like, restaurants or auto part stores.

Funnily enough the UK blue coloured supermarket they have started doing that... they advertise they will take competitors money off coupons. I haven't actually try to do it yet.
I am so SO glad I was not present for this. There would have been an unpleasant duct tape incident. - Joi

i'm betting they'll get people who try to use the "other store" coupons for store-brand items, or wrong-brand items... and pitch a fit about it when the store tells them no
