That's a shopping trolley now?

This was somewhat funny today.

We have these basket racks spaced around the registers so that customers can put their baskets in a safe place and we can safely move them to the front of the store for customers. THey have a HUGE handle on one side for us to be able to move them.

Apparaently this little old lady today grabbed one of our basket racks and tried to do her shopping with it!

When we had a rolling cart for moving the baskets, I would see a customer once in a while use it to do shopping with. Pretty funny lol

We used to get that all the time too. It got to the point where we just gave up and started sliding huge stacks of baskets along the floor...

We're lucky-we have THREE to use (seems like every store got 3) so there's one at the entrance and two on express, with the one at the entrance usually having a few baskets in it at one time. They all now have baskets attached to the bottom with the words "Stop I'm Attached" well....attached to them

Pfft. We had between 3 and 4 at any given time and we still could never find one when it came time to collect baskets. And it wasn't just little old ladies taking them either
