  • Miles away doesn't equal distance

The tech recruiters that me and my friend use for jobs like to give us an estimate of how far away something is by telling us, oh it only about hour twenty minutes away from your location. So I did a google check just because it turns out it is 123 miles away, with estimate of about 2.5 hours to get there, as there a wonderful speedtrap town of 35mph heavily enforced....

Still wondering how they figure we can go 120 miles in 80 minutes. A rough guess of avg 60mph would give 120 minutes or 2 hours

That's 2.5 hours by car. Apparently it's only 20 minutes away by some other means of travel.

    Helicopter?
    Jet pack?
    Teleportation portal?
    Dragon back?

You'd better call this guy back right away. Sounds like the job might have some cool perks you've overlooked. "Hey Boss, do I have the use of the company dragon on weekends?"
Women can do anything men can.
But we don't because lots of it's disgusting.

Well actually it was 1 hour, twenty min, so 1.3 hours by some other means of travel, either way your right I need to find out the finer points of temporal distortion that can be used

Aw, c'mon. What's the big deal? You just need to do 90mph and not stop for any traffic lights or pedestrians crossing your path.

Even if you went 20% cooler faster, you still couldn't get there that quickly.

I wish I knew how to teleport like Dhalsim. Then again, I also wish I could make my scarves create and reflect fireballs like Rose's can. Sigh.

A Portal Gun would be my preferred method of travel.
