Circumvention failure

Had a guy come up and ask to borrow a pair of scissors so he could cut his buddies wristband off and use it to get into our club.

Me: I'm sorry I can't do that.
SC: I'm sure you can. I'd be willing to give you a little tip.
Me: If you're willing to give me a tip, you'd be better off paying the $3 cover charge.

Tho, when my buds and I get our drink on, we eschew cover-places, 'cuz that's usually a drink or three!

Related to that, in New Orleans, everyone that stays during a special event is given a wrist band. You can't get back into the hotels without the one belonging to the hotel and no other hotels will allow you in.

Cut it off and you have to pay $27 for a new one at our hotels. Apparently there are alot of people who try that and then flip out when they have to pay for a new band.
