These aren't terribly sucky, because they didn't throw a fit or anything, but I thought they were worth posting anyway.
They both happened to my cashier and I was the MOD so I had a headset on and was listening in for "quality control".
SC - "How big is your coffee?"
Cashier "We have small, medium, and large."
SC - "How big are they?"
Cashier "The small is 12 oz, the med. is 16 oz. and the large is 20 oz."
SC - "How much coffee does the 12 oz hold?"
Whaaaat? Keep in mind, this was in Drive thru, so it's not like he was hinting that we should show him cup sizes or something. Then he proceeded to tell the cashier where he was going after this, how he needed to brush his hair still, and how he was running late.
Second one:
Women comes through drive thru and is confused about if we are on breakfast or lunch. Cashier clears up confusion and then:
SC "Do you have any fries though? I'm really hungover and need fries."
Cashier "Not yet, sorry."
SC "Do you know if BK has them yet?"
Note that we do not work at BK. BK is our direct competitor. This lady also went on to tell the cashier unnecessairy facts about her life before leaving.
