  • Time confusion and beer sales

Mystical's thread reminded me of something I did when I worked at a convenience store. In our city, beer alcohol sales stop at 2:AM. I usually worked the graveyard shift and got in the habit of locking up the beer when the clock said 2:00. One day I had to work the day shift. When the clock read 2:00 I automatically headed towards the beer cooler to lock it up. I was almost there when I remembered it was 2:00 in the afternoon, not in the morning. Luckily, no one saw me or knew what I was going to do.

It was a very easy mistake to almost make.
