  • Why is there an other button then?

Bg- We have the pinpad at work. People can get cashback on it. Used to be $40 but the company decided that they want it to be $20. But theres a loophole (thats for a whole new story though)

People come in and doesn't even ask how much cashback they can get. And they always type in $100. The thing beeps and then this is always the conversation:

Customer- Wait, how much cash back can I get?
    Me- $20
C- So why is there an other button?
Me- Not everyone wants an even number. Sometimes they just want 2 dollars back.
    C- Oh

Its an hourly thing and quite annoying, but not that horrid of a thing thankfully.

Someone may want less than $20 back? Gasp, shock, and awe!

I always ask first if it's OK to get X amount back. I don't really carry cash, and this time of year the Girl Scouts are selling cookies, so I'll be using the cash back quite a bit in the coming weeks. I usually only buy one or two boxes from the stands at the stores, though, so that's only $8 cash back I think I'd need for two.
