It finally happened to me

I just walked into the local grocery--Woody's for my Wisconsin peeps--where the uniform is dark blue T-shirts/aprons and black pants or, as most of them wear, jeans. I'm wearing khakis and a bright red shirt. You guessed it: "Do you work here?" At least the matter dropped when I said no. *shakes head*

I get this at Wallyworld too . . .they wear the dark blue shirts now (we at the Litter box get to choose between dark blue or puke green polos.)

Just goes to show that people just don't pay attention to their surroundings. If they did that, they could probably answer at least 50% of their questions themselves.

ahahahaaa...and the other day I was at a street fair with a friend and a store was having a sidewalk sale and I said, "How much are these DVD's?" and some lady told me the price points, and I said, "Oh, do you work here?" and she looked me in the eye and said, "No. I just know how to read." and then pointed the sign directly in front of me.
