*not a lot to this story, just something which happened via work e-mail earlier this week*

I'm not all that familiar with how the city's work e-mail system is set up, but apparently someone in the "Budgeting & Research" department wasn't paying attention to whom they forwarding something to earlier this week. "May Grant" was forwarding a copy of some veteran-related budget memo, and somehow managed to include my name on the list of people.

And what I find rather interesting is that one of the others who was included in the list was a former library co-worker.....she'd been transferred to another city department after the major budget cuts we had a few years ago.

Haha I can top that one. Earlier this month a photo tech at one of the Michigan stores sent a request looking for a customer's photo envelope (assuming for the send-out service for actual film). Problem is, though I think she was trying to copy/paste the generic "phototechxxx" out of the universal phone list, she slipped and ended up sending this email to the entirety of phototechxxx and everything south of that. Including every store director, every person whose last name started with Ph and beyond, every systems monitor, every supermarket team leader, every produce team leader, every receiving team... all in all a good 2,000+ people (including me). I'm betting she got a talking to about that email.
