Hi all. Just a quick funny from today. As those of you who work at a C-Store or any other place that cells cigs may know, Marlboro recently came out with yet another style of cigarette, called Southern Cut. Today, I was busying myself stocking cigarettes and putting things away from our weekly grocery truck when a customer came in and up to the counter. Manager was messing around on the computer, so I went to help the customer.
ME: Hi there. What can I get for you?
CUST: I want a pack of Southern Comfort...erm...Southern Cut
ME: *laughs* Well, I guess we know what kind of day you're having today!
The customer laughed, as did my manager, but really...we sell Southern Comfort, too, if he really needs it. I was chuckling to myself for a good while afterward about it. I suppose it was only a matter of time before SOMEONE got the two mixed up!
