Today, I was in a rush to help close the store down and went to the dressing rooms to make sure no merch was back there. I see one room closed with the curtain and flung it open to check how messy it was. I saw an unfamiliar pile of clothes on the stool then flickering of movement out of the corner. A lady was in there!! I kept apologizing as I pretty much ran for it out of embarrassment. All because I forgot to knock.

My sup rang her up. She was ranting at him, called me a dumb bitch and almost didn't buy anything. Luckily, him and her gf calmed her down. Now I'm just worried how the store manager will react.

    oops!

Hey, mistakes happen. I don't think I would have reacted like the custy, but since she went ahead with the purchase and your sup knows about the incident, the SM will prolly blow it off.

I've been there. I've accidentally walked in on occupied rooms at the motel because I misread my paperwork or was just plain not thinking.

This is why I'm glad 12+ years of dance have basically made me fully immune to people walking in on my when I'm in my skivvies.

Whatever. I probably would've started laughing.

Honestly, while I understand why she is upset, there's really no reason to start insulting you and going onat length about it.

It's so I can get ideas out of my head, I decided to put it in a blog in case people are bored or are curious as to the (many) things in progress.

If I were the customer, I'd figure it would scar you worse than me.

A local mall has family restrooms available. These are single user restrooms. Three times I have walked into them, and there was a woman inside the stall. They had neglected to lock the door. I immediately walked back out. Fortunately no fuss was made. But how can anyone use a public restroom without locking the door?

I went to use a single person restroom in a restaurant and walked in on a guy. I apologized and left but as I was waiting for him to finish I was wondering how someone could forget to lock the bathroom door. When he was done I was careful to lock the door myself...and a guy walked in on me.

I told the guy as I left, "Just so you know...the door lock appears to be broken."

2 out of the 3 bathroom stalls in the women's employee bathroom have broken locks that we've been waiting to get fixed since close to mid February, we just usually jam them closed with little folded up squares of toilet paper.

I can beat that. Our front bathroom is a joke. For weeks now, the door on the middle stall has been missing. That's ok, it only took it falling on TWO people before it was finally removed. But the point now is, there is no door. There. Is. NO. DOOR.

Coworker said she went in the bathroom one night and someone was using that toilet
