  • Can you say totally out of it?

I got dumped last night but I had no idea it would affect me so bad today!

I arrive at work at 8:30 AM only to realize upon reading my schedule I was the opener this morning, thus supposed to clock in at 7. Then I forget some croissants in the oven. Hmmmmmm very dark croissants. Then 2 hours into the work I realize I forgot to bring out and prepare the big doughs! Then I have to rush over to my section (The bakery department and the Bakery section are at opposite ends of the store, remind me to gut the architect) to realize we're out of 4 types of muffins, 3 types of donuts and very very low in everything else.

Thank God for my subordinate today, she saved the day. :cue superman theme:

Geez, anybody saw my brain around here? Cuz I'm pretty sure I dropped it somewhere today.
Now would be a good time to visit So Very Unofficial!

I'm sorry you had such a bad day - yay for coworkers saving the day!

*offers cookies and tea for consolation purposes* - I hope whoever dumped you realizes how stupid he was to lose you!

Sorry to hear about that. You know we still love you, right?

Last time I had a bad breakup, I called in for like 3 days to stay home and cry. I was so crushed, there's no telling what would have happened if I went in. I was at Kroger at the time, so there's no telling what kind of chaos I would have wrought on people's groceries if I had gone in.

      Hang in there.

Funny enough, I'm having a set of personal crises that are just wreaking havoc on my work life. I haven't been dumped but my boyfriend is under extreme mental duress. So extreme that he had a possible complex partial seizure, first in years... And now, I have to help pay for his EEGs and MRIs and whatnot to test to make sure he's not going to stroke out on me, not to mention paying my rent and my end of the cable bill and car insurance... Man this growing up crap is hard. For the love of all that is holy I'm 19.

We'll put it this way, a customer asked me how I was and I layed my head down on the counter and started sobbing, I can't seem to even remove the blaster worm, can't lift a desktop computer like I used to they all seem so heavy now. I just kind of keep staring at the clock praying for my shift to end.

          Pezzle:

Complex partials are fun. I've got them myself.
You can't stroke out from them....the closest to danger I ever came was seizing while riding a bike.

Go to EFA.org and check out the forums there. Look for ppl in NJ and ask around for epilptologists...neuros who specifiy in epilepsy.

Is he getting EEG or a Video EEG? (veeg)?

You also mentioned it's been years....assuming he had as kid? Dryspell in teen years? That happens to a lot of us.

Please, Log the seizures. Date/ Time/ surroundings...FOOD! BEV! anything you can think of. More data to dr = brownie points.

          Good luck hon.
Ask me any q's if you want...I'm here.
