My mother asked for flowers in a hanging basket for Mother's Day, so I went to the nursery.
After making my choices (a lengthy process as I'm woefully ignorant about plants), I purchased the flowers and a guy carried them out to my car. Now, because it was a lengthy process, my allergies were in full swing-streaming eyes, runny nose, voice nearly gone.
I mention my allergies because I'm blaming them for the next thing I said to the guy who carried the plants to the car....
"It's okay to leave these outside isn't it?"
