So yesterday I was out getting something from an electronics store. I got asked for help, I politely declined. I looked at the shelf price, saw a good price for the product I was getting, and picked it up. I get up to the register, it rings up for twice as much. I'm trying to get in and out of there as fast as I can, so I ask the cashier about it. She replies that it probably has a mail-in rebate. Not being familiar with this store, I start to ask where I can acquire said mail-in rebate. She cuts me off
(but she probably gets this question all the time) and tells me that the rebate prints out afterwards. Ok, we finish the transaction, no rebate. She asks me to go get the shelf tag. I do. She then tells me no price match because they're different models. Fair enough. I go back to try and find the model. I get approached and asked if I needed help, which I said yes this time since I wanted to find the model quickly. I find it before the sales associate, think about my options, and he's trying to help me out by making sure that I got the right one, but it wasn't a question of which model I needed, but rather, which model matched the price tag in question. I couldn't use the model that matched the price tag, and at one point I ended up snapping at the poor sales associate, who left me alone after that. I didn't mean to, I was just rather frustrated at having to walk back and forth from that part of the store to the front desk, and I needed to get out of there really fast. And to top it all off, I get home, and didn't get the right model after all. But I don't think they had a model that would have worked for my case.
So sorry, sales associate that I didn't get the name of, for snapping. It wasn't you, and I didn't mean it.
