  • All goes silent...

This was bizarre. I was dealing with a drunk idiotic woman. There was a large group of them, and they ordered six meals. Apparently I was incompetant because I couldn't carry six large plates at a time.

SC: Where are the rest of our meals?? You've only brought three! We ordered six!
Me: I'm sorry, this all I could manage in one trip. I'll be right back with the rest.
    SC: WELL HURRY UP!

I turned around to walk away, and said something quite loud under my breath.

    Me: OK....bitch!

For some reason, everyone chose to go silent at this very moment, and they all heard me.

She was a bit sheepish when I returned with the meals, and even said thank you.

When they went to leave, one of their group asked to see the manager. When co-worker pointed to me, they changed their minds and left.

    WOOHOO! Good for you!

She had it coming. And, you KNOW this group of hens has been abusive to a lot of other wait staff in the past.

Okay, they should all watch "waiting." Have you seen that movie? I guarantee nobody would ever dare talk like that again.

I've had a customer hear me when I called them a bitch too. Luckily the store was closing so what did it matter (like for good) and the fact that when she charged up to me to ask what I said, I just shrugged and told her to have a good day. lol
