I feel horrid.

Here's what happened:

Pizza was ordered by roomie, well pizza and things, and then roomie and bf went to get some sodas from the corner store. Leaving me to sign for the food, which was paid with by roomie's card. I think the order totaled probably around $35.

I was half flustered trying to juggle four boxes of food with no table nearby and didn't really want to sign my name on roomie's card receipt, but didnt' really have any choice.

I entirely forgot to give the delivery guy a tip.

And he was so nice too! I feel horrible and mean.

This is easily solved. Just call the place ask to talk to the driver and let him know that you will be by with something for him. A simple apology for forgetting and dropping the tip by will make it all better. It happens to the best of us.

When I waitressed at Pizza Hut, I had a table, a lady with a small child, who were only have the buffet. Their bill was only 9 dollars and some change, and there was no tip. I never really thought of it, it's not really like I did much for the table.

However, a FULL MONTH after the fact, she dropped by the store to hand me a few dollars and said "I am sooo sorry I forgot your tip last time I was here" and then she left. I had even forgot about it so when she came in I was just taken aback. It was so nice of her though!

So, if it'll make you feel better and you remember the driver, just drop a tip off later. It'll make the both of you feel better
