I feel like an ass

I just returned from a local bar, and I feel terrible. It was busy, and when I arrived I'd wanted to just have a few of their cheapest beers (which I knew was bud.) Now I knew they'd changed ownership and was curious about their prices. I ordered a bud, which was handed to me. I expected a draft but had a bottle. Oh well, c'est la vie. I asked how much it was and the barkeep told me. I asked, when I was halfway done with it, conversationally, if there was anything cheaper. She responded "just be happy with what you have." I thought this was kinda rude of her, but didn't respond as such. I instead talked to a regular, who told me she was probably stressed due to it being so damn busy. I then asked how much the bud drafts were and found out they were the same. So I ordered 2 more of those. I then ordered a shot of jager and my tab. It ended up being $10, which was a lot less than I thought. It didn't click to me until later that my first round had been bought for me. I felt bad about having that opinion about the barkeep, but maybe I was just naive. Ah well, so I make myself a fool. Not the first time.
But I have made the decision to become a regular there. So I think I am making up for it.
