We mainly get bookings through Booking.com(and affiliates) and Laterooms, both sites don't charge the customer but pass us card details. Every now and then I end up running out to the car park to try and catch people before they drive thinking they have already paid.
The one thing that bugs me about these types of sites is room descriptions.
We have standard, deluxe and suites.
Booking.com had double, large double and deluxe suites.
Can't tell you the number of times I've nearly put someone in a deluxe instead of a suite because of that.
Laterooms room types match up with ours, but you can't have a double and a single occ rate for a double room on there. So you have to list the rooms twice, double and single rate. Can anyone say overbooked?
