I can only remember one time where I REALLY lost my temper in front of a customer...
Many moons ago we had a software rack of a cheap brand ("Expert") software. Some of the titles were marked $9.99. Others were $19.99. The boxes were similar so they tended to get mixed up.
At the time it was my job to make sure the software was filled and straightened. This SC went to buy one title and it came up as $19.99. He said the spot said it was $9.99. So we checked and yes, there was one in the $9 spot, but they're easily mixed up. He kept bitching that since that one was in a spot marked $9 he should get it for $9 (even though the tag had a different title on it).
So I grabbed the title and threw it across the aisle. "WELL, IT'S NOT THERE ANYMORE!"
The customer and my manager were shocked at my outburst. I thought for sure I was fired, but the managers just laughed it off and told me to chill out.
