The family (Dad, me, bro, his wife, Mom was working) went to a wine tasting fund raiser for Dad's marathon... and the guy presenting at one point said, "Feel free to ask questions..." so, I bade my time, waiting until he'd finished telling us about all the white, then all the buttery reds, then a very sweet champagne, and only once the tasting was winding down, did I stop him to ask, "So, why is Tarzan never portrayed with a beard?"
He stops, and goes, "I don't know...?"
I reply, "Okay. I just like getting people's answers to that."
Note, my brother warned him just before I asked, that he didn't know what he'd gotten himself into by giving me carte blanche for question asking...
Found out the next morning that Dad was embarassed I'd asked.
"Why?" was my response, "I've done it to everyone whose ever given me the freedom to ask questions. And you know it. And T (my brother) warned him."
