This was actually told to my by my coworker.
He saw a guy sitting in a car in a handicap spot. He circles but doesn't see that they guy has a handicap plate or hanging card. So he pulls-up and asks the guy if he has a handicap card. The guy says 'Oh, just a second' and reaches-down under his dashboard. A few seconds later the guy comes back-up...holding a prosthetic leg! Sock, shoe and all!
My coworker still had to ask if the guy had his card. The guy said 'Yep, got that too!' and showed it to him. I didn't believe him when he told me the story, but you can't make stuff like that up.
I thought you could definetely work that as a scam; just have a prosthetic leg sitting on the floor, and hold it up when you're questioned!
