At work, doing the normal Monday things, yadda yadda yadda.
Get a call from the LP lady, telling me to be on the lookout for a 19-year-old special needs child in a red jacket. He's apparently become lost, either in the store or the strip mall attached to it.
I take a trip around the store, and don't find the child anywhere, so I go to do something else. Just then, at the opposite side of the store, I see somebody in a red jacket hunched over, shuffling down one of the aisles.
Since I've seen some special needs people walking in a gait similar to this, I get ahold of the LP lady and tell her I might've found the child. I walk down, checking all the aisles, until I catch up with the red jacket.
Which is being worn by an elderly lady.
I call up the LP lady and tell her don't bother. I didn't find the kid after all. I never did hear if anybody found him.
