When working at the photo studio as mentioned in another post - we would pre schedule the Sr photos . . . the school would give us address labels and we would set the appointment and mail out a post card - of couse we would have alternate a day for guys and then a day for girls
I only had one Mom be above and beyond rude that her son Lynn was scheduled on a girl day. . . she said if their are two "n"s in the name it is masculine - I pulled out my Drivers License and showed her my full name which has Lynn spelled with two "n"s as part of it . . .she backed down when I asked if she was calling me a boy.
I have met males with the name: Kerri, Kelly, Erin, - there are alot more names out their that are not gender specific than people realize.
as for going back to the subject of this thread:I had a co-worker who would come looking for me and nine times out of 10 I would be in the supply area - so she would say my name - my reply "I'll be out of the closet in just a moment" finally one day I heard her reply of "I wish it were true"Comment
