A few minutes before we all punched out to leave tonight the phone rang. I picked it up.
Me: Bent Staple
Creepy Sounding Dude: Can I talk to Amanda please?
Me:.....OK.... *punches hold button*
Whoever that was sounded creepy as all hell.
Me: Hey Amanda? There's some really creepy sounding guy on the phone asking for you.
Amanda: Oh it's probably my mom.
Me:
Amanda: *picks up the line* Hello? *puts her hand over the phone* It is my mom! *takes hand off* He said you sounded like a really creepy guy!
Me:
You didn't need to repeat it!!
Amanda: Oh it's her own fault. *into phone* QUIT SMOKING!!!!
Apparently this sort of thing happens a lot.
