Back in the days when I had a computer service shop I did house-calls too. Then a lot of computer parts were so expensive that repairing them was an option.
This time I went to a client to find out what was wrong. Quickly it became obvious that the monitor was broken (it smelled burnt electronics). So I took it with me back to repair it and put it in my car's trunk (I think you can get it by now ).
I started to drive and in the first turn I hear da-da-dada-THUMP!
I quickly realize what this was, namely the monitor acting like a bowling ball rolling in the trunk. So I think I must be careful when I turn, as not to repeat this.
Of course I forgot this a while later - da-da-dada-THUMP!...
After I got back and some more THUMP!'s I could repair the monitor, it had only very minor scratches on the plastics, which I sandpapered with the finest paper there is. The client got back his monitor, and never found out what happened.
