I have a number of coworkers on my FB list, and my last boss, but he wasn't my boss yet when I added him. My current direct boss isn't on FB at all, and his boss (my department's director) is but I haven't friended him. I know we have mutual friends among our coworkers but then he may not have been their boss when they added him, either, since he's only been in charge this department for about 3 years (my area has a lot of people who've been with the company a decade or more in various capacities). I wouldn't mind if he sent me a friend request but it seems unprofessional to send him one. I don't post anything incriminating, anyway.

Nope. Though I've considered adding my CFO + my HR Manager to my LinkedIn network when/if my contract expires (it's supposed to expire at the end of the year, but there's a big possibility of an additional 6 months extension).
I also have one of my former coworkers on FB, but we don't communicate much.Last edited by NorthernZel; 07-21-2013, 11:17 PM.A theory states that if anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for, it will be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
Another theory states that this has already happened.

I don't have my boss or any of my current co-workers on my friends list. Doomsday Prepper will never get added to my friends list. My other co-worker is terrified of computers, and doesn't know how to use one so he doesn't have a Facebook page. Those are the two main people I work with.
I do work with other people, but only for a short period of time, and I don't know them well enough, or think we have enough in common that I would want to add them to my Facebook page anyway.
