    When it Rains...

    My boss was just in a conference call regarding one of our loans for a condo/hotel.

    One of their guests died in the shower and fell in such a way that he blocked the drain. The shower overflowed and flooded not just his room, but each of the rooms below, down to the conference room on the ground floor. Then, when emergency services went in to remove the body, they couldn't get him out without taking apart the doorframe of the bathroom.
    "I look at the stars. It's a clear night and the Milky Way seems so near. That's where I'll be going soon. "We are all star stuff." I suddenly remember Delenn's line from Joe's script. Not a bad prospect. I am not afraid. In the meantime, let me close my eyes and sense the beauty around me. And take that breath under the dark sky full of stars. Breathe in. Breathe out. That's all."

      I don't know. I only heard this second-hand, so I don't know the details, like time frame or how much water made it to the conference room or what floor the guy was on.

          Holy hell... Um, wow. Kinda at a loss for words here. I hope the poor man didn't suffer too badly.

            Yikes that is .. wow. No words.
            Engaged to the amazing Marmalady. She is my Silver Dragon, shining as bright as the sun. I her Black Dragon (though good honestly), dark as night..fierce and strong.
