Summoner of trades

I get to work, find my new boss munching on mint oreos (he shares cookies) in the back, store's in pretty much perfect condition. He greets me, and apparently there's been about 5-13 people in the store, all in one group. No trades, but neither of us are worried, because we've already made trade goal for the week, anything at this point is delightful but essentially just going 'yay'!

So he's getting ready to go to lunch. I get my second transaction. It's a trade. 3ds, games. xb360 and wii games, ds games.
grand total was around 380$ in store credit, give or take 10$. We've now matched trades for the day. He leaves for lunch.
I get my 4th transaction of the day. Someone's entire collection of ps3 and xb360 games. Would have been a ps3, but they forgot cables and controller.

trade was 500 something. The back counter is now full.
My boss returns.
Me: "Hiiiiiiii."
Boss: "Hi...?" *eyes realize what's behind me, and the fact that I'm wearing a sticker necklace* "DEAR GOD. DEAR MERCIFUL GOD. I WAS ONLY GONE FOR HALF AN HOUR."
Me: "It was one transaction."
Boss: "....DEAR GOD. I... I don't even know where to start on this."
Me: "Sort and sticker. Sort and sticker. Don't worry, I've done this before."
Boss: "so you weren't joking about the whole 'summon trades'"
Me: "This is why I'm never out on time."

That used to happen to me all the time with buy backs when I was at Hasting's.

Store manager had also enacted a rule that a GSM (Guest Service Mgr) couldn't leave for the day until we were done tagging and boxing all of the buy backs that we had done on our shift.

That got modified when she came up to leave at 7pm one evening and I was still there, tagging and boxing, even though I was supposed to have left at 4pm.
