Our heating ducts are below ground level and have filled with water. They are making a godawful thumping echo-ey sloshing noise like a giant with digestive issues.

That was bad enough, but now we are running a little-bitty buzzy-sounding pump to get rid of the water. So now it sounds like a giant with digestive issues getting his teeth drilled.
