1. Free coffee, all day long
2. I'm hourly, but my hours are somewhat flexible. If I need to run a bit late, supervisor still has me count as if I were there. Same if I need to leave a tad bit early.
3 Super awesome PTO program, 17 days during years 1-5. At 5 years (which I started this year) it bumps up an extra 5 days so I get 22 days to schedule off with pay this year!

12. Kind and caring management that while they want everyone there and the job done, will alter the shifts to get people in to work/home early in the event of inclement weather. During the recent snow storm, we brought our 2nd shift crew in 4 hours early so they could still get their hours in and still home before the roads were covered. My boss has taken me home/brought me to work when the roads were impassable for my car due to how low it sits.
13. Training, training, training--product, service, safety, etc. It's all at our fingertips and offered monthly during meetings or anytime you feel you want/need additional training.

There's so much more but too much to recall. Working there is such a dream compared to my most 2 recent jobs prior to this one. 5 years and haven't called in once.....

Where I used to work, for $2 I could get catered lunches every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I also got to play their online casino games for free.

Also, at the last place where I worked, we would have a Christmas party, a company picnic and lots of chances for potluck or other events where food was featured. We even got gifts from clients. I remember a certain channel giving us crates of oranges to celebrate the launch of "The Real Housewives of Orange County", and the one some of you call Red Checkmark giving us two metal boxes full of chocolate loonies and toonies ($1 and $2 coins for you non-Canadians).

When I worked at a cookware company we had a sale every week for the unsellable cookware and utensils. A £50 wok or £40 knife for £2 or so? That was always nice.

Most of it was still good, just missing packaging and I got a few nice knives that were just from a range that had been removed from sale as they'd been rebranded...

My only perk at the moment (mystery shopping) is that if I get lucky, I will get reimbursed for anything I buy up to a certain point. The challenge is actually GETTING those jobs.
There are also a TON of jobs I currently can't do (for licensing reasons-I am checking on this though) where I get the opportunity to test-drive cars for free! (these jobs actually pay quite well too)

(For instance, one of the jobs I really really really want is for an art supply chain*. This job pays a certain amount AND will also reimburse you for any purchases made up to that same amount. Basically, I'm getting free art supplies )

Back at "DaddyJim's" Pizza and other pizza joints where I worked -- Free food (within reason) when it was slow enough and *everything* important had been taken care of for the time being; had to be recorded and just listed as free/"crew pie", of course. Half price soft drinks.

Back at GameStore, we got...what was it, a 20% discount on game software and accessories, IIRC (but not on hardware), plus 30% off at BigGreenBookstore, which came under the same ownership umbrella; their workers got the same discount at our place. During certain holidays, both increased by 10%, and both stacked with coupons and sales -- I used the latter to snag those huge Far Side and Calvin & Hobbes collections for about $40 each (Base price $120-140). Store Managers got the usual bonuses, including all-expenses paid and a flight to E3 every year plus pretty much every game system that came out and a dozen games or so....As well as, of course, the greatest benefit: the honor of serving Great Mother Company at holiday times by working 60-80 hours a week on salary. ~_~

The perks are getting fewer and farther between. Medical insurance, but now there is a 1000 dollar deductible and the copay is 20 percent of the office visit so it's not useful to me anymore. The PTO is good but I'm at the top of the scale, it can't accrue any faster for me. We get free pizza once in a while and free coffee and tea all day. We used to have outings and potlucks and stuff and they never happen anymore. The holiday party doesn't exist.

But I get the joy of a hellish long commute now and and "open office plan" that makes me want to crawl into a hole.

At the ski resort, I get discounted lessons and equipment rentals. I also get a free shift meal everyday and get to take leftovers home on occasion.

For the train job, I get very generous lodging discounts as well as excellent cruise benefits. On days that I'm working, I get to eat as much as I want for free. Train food gets kind of old after a while, but free food is free food. I also get all the coffee and soda I want for free.

That reminds me of BoutiqueGrocery. First year we were open: Big deluxe dinner at the Five Happiness (fancy Chinese place -- don't laugh, they're awesome!), big screen TV playing the Saints game, door prizes. Second year: A couple of party trays that customers never picked up, and free soft drinks. Third year: Party? What party?

Oh yeah, speaking of company parties...

One year the supermarket I worked at held a massive-ass Christmas do for their staff. I didn't go as I was a) still a bit too young and b) on antidepressants at the time.
That was a smart move.

Turns out that they had a free beer and wine bar and wayyyyyy too many of my coworkers got stuck into it. I got to see the embarassing photos on Facebook and half of my coworkers (manager included) rocked up hungover the following day!

Needless to say, the following year, there was no free bar. The best they could provide was cheap/free soft drink and my partner and I took advantage of that.

As for my partner's Christmas parties, they had free beer/wine but they also opted to release their inner child and had body artists (I got flowers on my cleavage, shoulders and face ), adult-sized board games, lollies and a lip-synching CD thing (which I chickened out on). I was also the "real" girlfriend at those parties

1) Formal training in accountancy qualifications (if you go from zero through AAT up to ACCA or ICAEW that can run into a 5 figure sum by the time you add exams).
2) Day release for the training which you don't have to use holiday for.
3) The whole day off and the first attempt at each exam paid for (if you fail, it's holiday and pay for it yourself, prices starting from £35 at the lowest levels of AAT (approx. 7 exams per year), climbing up to over £100 for later ACCA/ICAEW exams).
4) Annual membership fees are also paid until the first renewal after you qualify. After that you're on your own.
5) Internal training courses to cover the mandatory number of professionally tutored hours required to keep said qualifications once you have attained them, all paid for by the company; these courses usually start at £100 per person per day, and again you don't have to use holiday. Mileage is paid for travel to the courses, plus a lunch allowance if the course covers the whole day at another site.
5) At my branch, there are regular social events (bowling, dinner, etc.) where the partners who attend subsidise the bar bill (and, to be fair, they usually rack up a good portion of it).
6) Excellent support of people with long-term health issues; for myself, they were very supportive of me taking as much time as I needed after my brain op (they insisted I came back on half-days only, when I wanted to jump straight in), and a (sadly, now deceased) work colleague with cystic fibrosis was frequently off sick (particularly towards the end) but was given massive support. The partners of our branch had already said they'd shut the office on the day of her funeral so we could all attend before it was announced it would be on a Saturday.

The only "official" perk I get from my job is a free bus/light rail card, which is VERY useful since I can't/don't drive, and a monthly bus pass would cost around $60.

And to share a perk from my daughter's job - she works at a used clothing store, and when people bring in clothes to sell, staff get first pick at the items. (I think it does come out of their paycheck, though)
