Small world?

How often do you run into people that you've known in the past.. at work?

So far to date:
I've run into coworkers from 2 different jobs (they were shopping in my store);

Our head chef and I worked together 8 years ago at an internet provider - we didn't recognize each other since he had really long hair back then (short now), I had short hair and weighed about 50 pounds less than I do now (I have shoulder length hair now);

One of the department managers is very good friends with several of my friends, and we've probably bumped into each other at parties in the past (he looked really familiar, but I could never figure out why);

Finally, one of the maintenance guys from my apartment complex turned up at my counter last night. I'd told him where I worked before, but didn't mention which store or what department. I started into my usual "How ya doing toni... OH HEY! How's it going?" when we recognized each other.

I've been with this company almost 6 months. At this rate I'm sure I'm going to keep running into people.

Also, I live in a major metropolitan area with well over 5 million people.

I have also ran into several people from my old jobs.

At my old factory job, another one of my old co-workers from a previous job, started working the same shift, and the same dept as I. I also have seen some old school mates, when I was working at Walmart. I have also seen one of my teacher and an old principal at Office Max when I was working. Just so happens that both of them remembered me. So I helped them out, and sold the Office Max insurance on both of there purchases

Every time I start a new job, I run into someone I've worked with before or gone to school with. Fairly large metropolitan area (1 mil)... but I work in gov't offices.... the same faces just shuffle every few years.
