One of our reps went way above and beyond for one of our customers (who works in the same mini-mall that we do, she works in a store that makes very nice fruit baskets). So, she had one sent to him the other day.
He decided to share it with the store.
Sure enough, he got a call from management stating that he isn't allowed to accept gifts as an employee or for doing his job.
Sure, and the hypocrits who said this have their offices lined up with autographed sports balls, racing cars, shirts, bats, gloves, helmets, tickets, books, pictures, movies, and so on, all addressed to the manager.
