For the past couple of years, I've been volunteering at a charity shop. Over that time, I've gone from a basic volunteer, all the way to team leader. I knew nothing when I started, and now frequently run the store on the manager's days off.
Now I'm moving to a different store with the same company as a paid job and I must admit, I feel a pang of sadness at leaving. I always knew there was no chance of getting a paid position in this store but leaving behind the people who taught me everything I know feels a shame.
So used to seeing them all everyday.
And now I'm off to run my own store. Feels very strange.

PinkyBrain! You'll do great in your own store, and as Slave to the Phone says, you can always stop in "home" for a visit.
