  • Looking Down The Barrel Of A Lock...

So, I just got home from work... 3 hours later than normal. Why? Because when I tried to lock the front door tonight the entire lock came off. Yep. Stuck in the key tried to turn it, didn't work. Tried to pull my key out and the entire barrel came out with my key still inside. So, I had to wait for the locksmith... and wait, and wait...*sigh*

The lights automatically turn off around 1am I was stuck in the mostly dark (a few dim emergency lights are on all the time). There were movies to put away but it strained my eyes trying to see anything. I decided the only answer was to watch a movie that I normally wouldn't bother renting. I started to watch Rocky Balboa. Not as bad as I heard- not terrific- definately not as good as the classic Rocky movies. I think they did okay at portraying a lonely, aging fighter who has lost all direction and purpose in life. Now, I have to rent it because I didn't get to see the fight... *sigh again*

    Don't tell me the end.

I joke. I haven't seen it myself. Never been a fan of the Rocky series.

At the end of the movie, all the aliens die, the baddies are arrested, the guy gets the girl and everyone has a song and dance routine. Oh, and then they ride off on his horse into the sunset

What about the obligatory sex scene?

Ah, the obligatory sex scene. The puppets were quite convincing in their re-enactment of "Saving Ryan's Privates." I just wish they were more neon-coloured.

Uhm... I really don't want to see Sly in any sex scenes. Yes, yes I know that's how he actually got the nickname "Italian Stallion" but that was what? 30 years ago? And not that good of a porn to boot- even back then!

Back in high school I worked at a VERY tiny AM radio station. Once when I was the only one there, I left the control room to get some more music "carts". When I came back the control room door knob came off in my hand.

At the time we had a "severe weather" background tape that we played whenever there was a weather warning in the area. It just beeped every minute or so. For ten minutes, until I could pry open the control room door with a shovel, that beep was the only thing playing on our radio station.

As far as I know, no one noticed.
