A Fun First Night

So my first day at my new job was last Friday at the video rental place. My boss and one of coworkers were there as well. I was supposed to shadow the coworker for a bit before getting my own drawer. Well, I ended up not even getting a drawer because the computers went down so things had to be done by hand. We couldn't even check in movies. I felt so bad that there wasn't much I could do. I did go out and help customers on the sales floor and block the store though. I also unclogged the bathroom for customers because someone left behind something rather unpleasant. Needless to say that was a very moment but I got through it. So the end of my shift rolls around and you know what happens? The computers come back online five minutes before my shift is over.

Anyway, tomorrow I'll finally get to actually handle customers and stuff. I can't wait.
