    Wish me luck!

    I've applied for a city job. Full time, exceptional benefits, weekends off, full paid training and making about 4x what I make now annually.
    I REALLY want and need this job, so send me some good thoughts, okay?

              Good luck with that!

              I applied for a city job once. I tested at the top bracket, but my attendance and punctuality record were really abysmal, so it never went anywhere.

              As an aside, this year I've pretty much stopped being late and absent, so if I want to try again, I have a pretty good shot. But I really like my job, so I'll wait and see what happens after the boss dies. (sounds mean, I know, but he has cancer {3 different types}, and the forecast is that he won't be with us a decade from now)
