I'm not sure what I want to do here. Yesterday our gas pumps all died and one of my people called Tech Support, and the guy on the other end snapped at her. Was quite rude, as I've been told (she's not the type to make things up either).
He later apologized, but I feel like saying something. I could theoretically get this guy in some pretty hot water.
On the one hand, having to deal with people all day I totally understand. Maybe his wife just left him or maybe he had to take a shit really badly and now couldn't, or maybe he was just stressed out and let something slip, and stuff happens. He DID apologize, and I would like more customers to be understanding I'm not at my best on a particular day...
...On the other hand, if anyone at my store ever gave that kind of attitude to a customer, we WOULD be shitcanned on the spot, and I feel like we're HIS customers, don't we deserve the same kind of asskissing?
I should probably just leave it alone, dude did apologize...but then again, all these tech support guys I deal with are shitheads.
