I had a chat with bosslady yesterday. She noticed that, while I don't talk much with anybody, Jy and I have absolutely nothing to say to each other. She asked why, and I told her that I don't really know.

Then we started talking about people showing up late, taking long breaks and/or leaving early (all of which Jy is VERY much guilty of). She knows that it's a problem, and has talked to Jy about it. After the manager's meeting on Thursday, new rules are going be set about coming in late, etc.

Bosslady said she thinks part of my issue with Jy in particular, is that I show up every day 10 minutes early. Bosslady LOVES that.

Bosslady also told me that I can stay late when it gets busy. Awesome. Most people are begging for more hours, and I get them handed to me.

While bosslady ran to the bank today, Jy decided she REALLY wanted McDs. OK, this is bad. The thing is, we are NOT allowed to leave the premises while on break, in case a major rush happens. While she was talking about this, she mentioned how bosslady is always on her case about being late, etc.

Jy goes to McDs anyway. Keep in mind that the bank is RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. Hell, bosslady was just barely out of the parking lot when Jy left.

They got back to the store at the exact same time.

I wanna know what the bosslady did. Talk about karma coming back to bite you in the ass. I wanna know did Jy kinda get that look on her face like a puppy that just soiled the carpet as she walked in with the manager? That would be priceless.

your not allowed to leave the store on your breaks? that totally sucks, I hope your paid for them then because its not really a "break" is it

the gallery tried to pull that with me many times "oh kiwi we only scheduled on two staff members all day and no one to cover breaks so just have your lunch in the atrium"

I dont fecking well think so! If my break is unpaid then it is MY TIME to do what I want or need to.

Yes, breaks are paid. Because, like I said, we have to be available in case we get a rush.

I don't know what, if anything bosslady said to Jy. I am hoping she said something, especially since Jy actually had the nerve to ask if she could sit in the office while she ate.

I cannot wait til she gets fired. Or has her baby. Preferably fired, though.
