Thanks for reminding me of Willow, Jester! I just found out the fiance has never seen it. Guess what just went on the Netflix.
The only words you said that I understood were "His", "Phone" and "Ya'll". The other 2 paragraphs worth was about as intelligible as a drunken Teletubby barkin' come on's at a Hooter's waitress.

AWESOME Jester! I'm quite jealous. That's one night to remember for a long time - and I hope you've created a long-time regular out of him, because I want to read the stories of how excited you are about it.
Long-time regular is unlikely, as they don't live here or anywhere near here. (This is after all a tourist town.) But I would not mind one bit if they end up booking me for a show sometime in the future. I'll take that Hollywood connection, yes I will, thank you very much.

(That is, after all, how David Blaine got going...impressed a particular celebrity, said celebrity backed him both with money and connections, and off David went to fame and fortune.)

Alan Rickman WAS the voice. Warwick Davis was the body. Hope I didn't confuse anyone with that.

And it's good to know that other people remember the movie Willow. Seems most of my friends haven't the faintest idea what I am talking about, even the ones my age. (Naturally RW did, though.)
Re: HG2G: Neat! I didn't know that. Knew about Alan Rickman, but hadn't paid attention to the cast list for everyone else. Happy Minima!

And yes, I definitely remember Willow. Those adorable kids and Willow's wife giving him her braid. Also, Val Kilmer being silly.

There are three book sequels to Willow, for you fans. Shadow Dawn, Shadow Moon, and Shadow Star...if memory serves they're written by Lucas and Chris Claremont, but don't hold me to that.

Just....don't read them unless you're happy knowing everything changes, very drastically.
