So I just got hired for a part time job at Petcetera. It pays 25cents more than what I am getting at at Sears (AFTER one raise, also found out another girl was hired at 25c more than I was after said raise too, but she was hired by the new supervisor). There are benefits and a discount, though the new manager (who has experience but is new to the store) doesnt have information on it yet.
She seemed to very much like me, and I noticed THIS written on my resume:A very Sweet Girl!
She also said my resume looks a lot like hers - a lot of experience. Quite impressed. we exchanged pet stories.
So I'm going into the LIvestock now as an associate. I can print out pamplets and she approves of me educating customers on proper pet care.
She even made mention of supervisor/managerial positions possibly in the future, including ASM (which would mean I'd have to go full time no doubt), but they also pay more.
So now I have to think, every day, if I want to possibly go up the ladder (at last) at petcetera if it works out, or stay at Sears. I like working at sears, and my guilt complex wants me to stay because my Supervisor really needs me. I guess we'll see...
I start Saturday.
