Yesterday, a customer wanted some powerball drawings for the next 26 drawings which I was fine with. I put in the request for 26 drawings, put the slip through the machine, but it only gave me 20 drawings. I tried to put in the remaining 6 by using advanced drawing and using the date after the last one listed on the ticket but for some reason the machine wouldn't accept it. Luckily, the customer was fine with the 20 drawings she got.

Just from buying tickets in advance, whenever the slip wouldn't give *all* the dates, it meant something was changing after that date. Like 1 drawing a week would become 2 drawings a week, or my state was dropping that game and picking up another lotto.

I can't speculate on the quirks of the machine's operations. However, I'd say that if the customer was happy with what she got, I wouldn't give it any more thought. There's plenty of other worries waiting around the corner to consider.

Illinois' Megamillions (another multi-state game) as well as their state lottos all have a time restriction. Beyond what dalmatas said about games changing, I guess they have to draw a line somewhere, or some Lotto Looney would want tickets for the next fifty years Glad your customer didn't go the SC route.
