    I agree. . . I think the fee is to try and get a point across to the students. . .remember part of collage/ university is to prepare students for the real world.

    Sad part is, when I was in school - the ones that forgot their keys were the ones that Mommy and Daddy paid for everything . . .and the ones paying their own way were the responsible ones.

      See, that'd be a good idea, but I don't think they'd be prepared to change over 800 doorknobs, plus add in the deadbolts in a building only 3 years old. *sigh* I wish they'd thought of it during planning/construction, because that's a great idea.

        Hey, pass it along, you never know. Nothing is built perfect the first time, and they might think it is a good idea. Then again, they might like the revenue stream better.
