Our hostess was a no-show today, so I had to answer the phone (not one of my favorite things to do there). At least this one conversation entertained me. Thinking of my hero Kara_CS, I wrote it down to share with my co-workers, a manager, and CS ...

ME: Thank you for calling [restaurant-name], may I help you?

CALLER: Hello?

ME: Hello.

CALLER: Hello?

ME: Hello, thank you for calling [restaurant-name], may I help you?

CALLER: [Restaurant-name]?

ME: Yes.

CALLER: You are a restaurant?

ME: Yes.

CALLER: You serve Italian food?

ME: Yes.

CALLER: I have coupon.

ME: Okay.

CALLER: It is for after 5 p.m.

ME: Okay.

CALLER: I have other coupon.

ME: Okay.

CALLER: It is for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

ME: Okay.

CALLER: You are near [shopping mall]?

Actually, we're in the mall's parking lot. But as the woman asked this, my co-worker Johanna walked by. I quickly handed her the phone, explaining, "they need directions," and immediately turned away so she couldn't see my evil grin. As I made my escape, I heard ...

That is evil! But I love it.

We have this gentleman that always calls in an order. He calls in every week or so. He Is the biggest pain, he is very picky and demanding and usually orders about 8 sandwiches. It usually takes about 15-20 minutes just to get the order out of him. Last time he called I answered the phone.

Me- Good afternoon, this is SubwayGirl, how can I help you?
SC-Yeah this is SC I want to place my order YOU GUYS BETTER GET IT RIGHT my daughter used to manage a Subway so I know how my sandwiches should look!"
Me-Okay, please hold for a moment
Me-Hey AM-phone is for you.
AM-He this is AM, oh sure I can take your order (as she glares at me)
